Japanese SAR Pokémon Cards & Alternate Arts

Japanese SAR Pokémon cards (Special Art Rare)

SAR (Special Art Rare) cards are the most coveted cards of today's Japanese Pokémon sets. They combine a full-card alternate illustration with a premium textured finish, making them the true "chase cards" of each series — the ones everyone hopes to pull.

This collection features our SAR and alternate-art cards imported from Japan and carefully protected, from VSTAR Universe to Terastal Festival ex or Storm Emeralda. Whether an iconic Trainer or a star Pokémon, these cards carry most of a set's prestige.

Good to know before buying a SAR

• They are the most sought-after cards of each set
• Their print run is limited: availability varies by set
• Condition is key — hence our systematic protection
